Well, my farewell talk was not long enough...but I guess that is what happens when you decide to improvise. I think 8 minutes is pretty long.

There are 17 days to go before I report to the Argentina MTC!
The questions I've been getting all the time are:
How do you feel?
Are you nervous?
What are you most excited about?
What are you most afraid of?
To answer these questions, I would say that I feel pure excitement. Yes, I am going into a foreign country where I don't know anyone. Yes, it may or may not be dangerous. And yes, it is probably going to be the hardest thing in my life that I have done so far.
BUT, none of those worries can overcome how excited I am to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Paraguay who might be searching or asking for truth in their lives. I am somewhat nervous because it will be such big change, but it is a good type of nervous. I am excited to get to know the culture and to have great experiences. I am SO excited to dedicate an entire year and half to the Lord. I think it is beautiful that I get the opportunity to dedicate every single day of my life for a 18 months to the Lord. Not a lot of people get that opportunity. I am most afraid of not taking advantage of every moment that I get. I don't want to come home and say that I could have done more. I want to come home and say that I did everything that I could have done and that there was not one more thing that I could have done more of.
